AIC Fashion Show Fundraiser

The Aboriginal Interagency Committee is hosting a Fashion Show Fundrasier on February 4, 2012. The event will take place at the Peace River Sawridge and Conference Centre. Doors open at 5:00pm.The event will include opening remarks, dinner, a silent auction, and the Fashion Show. There will be an agent from NEXT Model Managment in attendance. Fashion republic, Lookin' Good, and Carmen Hackett-Houle, a designer from Paddle Prairie with her own line; Sash Designs, will also be in attendance. Community Cookbook Calendar

We need your favorite recipes to showcase in our 2013 Community Cookbook Calendar

The County is looking for your favorite recipes to be showcase in the 2013 Calendar. Please submit your recipes to Amber Houle by email at ahoule@northernsunrise.net no later than August 1, 2012The recipes will be compiled. The public will be given a chance to vote for their top 12 favorite recipes, which will be showcased in the 2013 calendar.Photos of the recipes and contest winners will also be showcased in the Calendar.

Off Highway Vehicle Bylaw (OHV)

Northern Sunrise County Council has completed the third and final reading of the Off Highway Vehicle Bylaw on August 11, 2011.  No trails are designated on Schedule "B" at the time of the passing of this Bylaw.

TEMPORARY BRIDGE CLOSURES

There are 2 bridges in the County that are currently out and/or under construction.  Please note the detour on the following maps for each location.

The bridge is out on Township Road 812 between Range Road 211 and Highway 2.  Please follow the alternate routes attached for access onto Highway 2.  Follow Range Road 211 North, then turn right onto Secondary Highway 683 to Highway 2, or follow Range Road 211 South, turning left on Township Road 810 to Highway 2.

The bridge is also out on Township Road 810 (Reno Road) between Range Road 193 and Range Road 192.  Please follow the attached alternate route to access Township Road 810 east of Range Road 192.  Follow Range Road 200 north, turning right onto Township Road 812, then turn right again on Range Road 192, then left back onto Township Road 810.
