Northern Sunrise County has been monitoring for crop diseases these past years. Last Year 4% of the cereal samples tested positive for Fusarium Graminearum. The affected owners are aware of the disease presence and all County producers should exercise extra caution. We feel it is imperative to reiterate the neccessity of certified seed, seed treatment, crop scouting and crop rotation to reduce future financial impact of our local producers. |
